Year 9 Street Art

In this course, students are exposed to the practice and methodologies of Street artists in the form of individual and collaborative artworks, using the real world as a reference for their imagery.

The main project for this course is the creation of a mural based on  plant species found around the grounds of St Ives High School. It features art making skills such as  drawing, stencilling and spray-painting. 

 

Each student has contributed their own design, creating, cutting and spraying their own multi-layered stencils.
