Year 8 Visual Design

Kites

Year 8 Visual Design classes worked hard, improving their skills across many forms and mediums. Students were tasked to design and make their own kites which were later flown on the oval.

Graeme Base Illustrations

Students studied the works of Graeme Base and were asked to create their own illustrated alliteration pages with great success.

Year 8 is an elective course which teaches students about the design process. They learn to create “art with a purpose” making objects that have a function as well as analyse the reasons for their success. They then use an informed point of view when developing responses to design briefs.

Scroll down and have a look at all of their wonderful creations!
