Year 10 Visual Design
Year 10 is the second year of the Stage 5 elective course.
Students continued to increase their knowledge and understanding of the design process, responding to set briefs and informed by their understanding of design in the real world.
Problem Solving in Design
Year 10 continue problem solving techniques when designing range of object that are both creative and artistic, and useful.
Some students took their skills beyond the classroom. Kiki M won $500 after receiving 2nd Prize in the REconsiderED Reverse Garbage Annual School Competition. She was also a finalist in the Ryde SWAP recycling competition which was exhibited in the See St Gallery. She is a very creative and self-motivated student whose work on this occasion was an elegant gown based on the “Golden Year’s of Hollywood”
