Year 10 Visual Arts

Year 10 Visual Arts is an elective course, where students study Visual Arts for 6 periods a cycle.  The focus area for year 10 is "People and the World" with two main topics.

Portraits

Year 10 students have demonstrated very strong talents in their portraiture works this year. Starting with drawing in a range of media they explored facial expressions, age groups, pose and props. They then started the traditional year 10 canvas on which they were asked to pay homage to someone they admire. Once completed and exhibited at the annual art exhibition they now hang in the library gallery space.
