Rap Songs
In this unit students explored the use of electronic music in hip hop and rap. The major project for this topic was the creation of their own personal rap which was all about them. For this task students had to write and perform the lyrics and create a backing track using pre-recorded loops and beat sequences.
"I play the drums, I like the beat
You can hear me play all down the street
I smash the bass and snare and tom
My cymbals ring out like a gong"
