Year 11 Visual Arts

Year 11 Visual Arts is the Preliminary HSC course, where students learn to work on their own original works developing a more sophisticated understanding of material and conceptual practice. They also study art theory through case studies and analysis of artworks.

Connect, Cocoon and Cage

Year 11 Visual Arts students explored the concept of ‘connect, cocoon, and cage’ in sculptural form. They have used a combination of materials and techniques to effectively visualise the concept in 3D.

Tension and Discord

For their body of work, Year 11 Visual Arts students investigated the concept of tension and discord. After planning extensively in their visual arts process diary, students approached the concept in a variety of art forms and techniques.
